The Border is a 13-hour news-inspired television series that dramatizes the hot-button issues of the Canada-U.S. border. In the show, an elite enforcement team grapples with the problems of sovereignty, human trafficking, terrorist threats and their own prejudices.

The Border: Interactive extends the content of the series to mobile and online. Mobile users compete to collect passport badges using a camera-equipped mobile phone. Meanwhile, online users interact with a standalone interactive episode, using the tools of surveillance and decryption to join the ICS team.

Layers of narrative and a national scavenger hunt reinforces the connection between all media. The Border: Interactive challenges citizen viewers as they try to make sense of national and individual security in a post 9/11 world.
